Join me in the studio for a beautifully spooky Halloween sugar craft workshop, where you’ll learn how to transform a simple waffle cone into an elegant, enchanted witch’s hat.
This is not your usual Halloween decoration! We’ll create a sophisticated, vintage-inspired witch’s hat using a combination of piping, modelling, moulding and decorative finishing techniques.
During the class, I’ll guide you through each stage step-by-step, including:
- Creating delicate royal icing cobwebs with fine piping
- Making and shaping a beautiful handmade sugar bow
- Creating a soft tulle frill using wafer paper
- Creating an elegant antique metallic finish
- Adding the final decorative details and learning how to securely attach them to your hat
- How to strengthen your waffle cone for decoration
You’ll be encouraged to work at your own pace, and I’ll be on hand throughout the workshop to demonstrate each technique and help you perfect your work.
What you’ll take home
At the end of the workshop, you’ll have your own beautifully decorated Enchanted Witch’s Hat to take home and display for Halloween, as well as a collection of new sugar craft techniques that you can use on cakes, cupcakes and other celebration bakes.

No previous sugar craft experience is necessary. I’ll guide you through everything from start to finish in my friendly, relaxed studio. Everything that you need will be provided and you'll take home a useful handout detailing everything we cover in the class. Light refreshments will be provided.
